Talk about group chat rooms.
I am listed in several group chat rooms. Some of the chat rooms are formed with friends. There is a room with college classmates. There is another room with friends from a club. They are communication channels to ask after each other and share important news. Of course, there is also a room I share with my co-workers. This helps to communicate more easily about our shared work. Group chat rooms make it easy to share things like photos, files, and links. It’s also easy to share important announcements. However, sometimes it’s impossible to read all the messages when too many messages pop up at once. Once you lost the flow, it’s hard to catch up. I can’t even consider reading it all. I turn off the alerts for most group chat rooms. Otherwise, I would have to be alerted all day long.

단체 채팅방에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
나는 여러 단체 채팅방에 속해 있다. 어떤 단체 채팅방은 친구들과 하는 것이다. 대학 동기들의 방도 있고, 동아리 때 친했던 사람들과 만든 방도 있다. 서로 안부를 묻거나 중요한 소식을 공유하는 소통의 창구로 사용한다. 물론, 같이 일하는 동료 직원들과 함께하는 방도 있다. 이런 방은 모두가 함께 진행하는 일에 대해 의사소통을 조금 더 원활하게 해 주는 역할을 한다. 단체 채팅방은 사진, 파일, 링크 등 이것저것 공유하는 것도 편리하다. 그리고 중요한 공지 사항을 공유하는 것도 더욱 쉽다. 그러나 채팅방에 가끔 너무 많은 메시지들이 올라와서 메시지를 다 읽는 것이 불가능할 때가 있다. 한번 흐름을 놓치면, 따라가기가 어렵다. 다 읽을 생각도 하지 못한다. 대부분의 단체 채팅방 알림을 꺼 둔다. 그러지 않으면 하루 종일 알림을 받기 때문이다.
