Talk about your brothers and sisters.
I grew up in a family with four siblings. I have two older sisters and a young brother. The age gap between my sisters and me is two years. We are much older than our brother. He was a late child. Our parents had him late in life after giving birth to three daughters, because they wanted a son. My brother was doted upon from a young age. He had a monopoly on care and attention from his parents and sisters. We are all grown up now, so we get on well. Of course, there were rough patches when we each got hitched because we had issues with each other’s spouses. However, we put that behind us as we grew older. We realized that family comes first.

형제자매에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.
나는 사 남매 집에서 자랐다. 나는 위로 언니가 두 명 있고, 아래로 남동생이 있다. 여자 형제들 간에는 나이 차이가 두 살씩 나고, 남동생과는 나이 차이가 많이 난다. 남동생은 늦둥이였다. 아들을 낳고 싶어 하셨던 부모님이 딸 세명을 낳고 아들을 뒤늦게 낳으셨다. 남동생은 어렸을 때부터 사랑을 독차지하며 살았다. 부모님과 누나들의 보살핌과 관심을 한 몸에 받고 자랐다. 지금은 다들 나이가 들어서, 사이 좋게 잘 지내는 편이다. 물론 중간에 서로 결혼을 하고 서로의 배우자들과 잘 맞지 않아서 힘든 시기도 있었다. 그렇지만, 나이가 들면서 그런 것은 다 과거지사로 넘기게 되었다. 가족이 가장 중요하다는 생각을 하게 된 것이다."
