Talk about the stereotypes Koreans have on blood types and personalities.
Many people in Korea believe that a person’s personality is determined by their blood type. This idea includes all blood types: A, B, AB, and O. For example, people with type O blood are thought to be ambitious, outgoing, and confident. Those with type A are considered introverted and self-conscious. People who are type B are known to be creative and a bit stubborn. Last of all, those with type AB blood are rational and a bit obsessive. Some question the scientific basis of the theory. They say that the stereotypes could lead to prejudice. However, most people simply take it with a grain of salt. In many ways, the blood type personality theory is like fortune-telling. It can be dangerous to accept at face value.
