I always have some wet wipes at my desk. They are good for mopping up spills. Also, they are effective for wiping away dust. They are useful for washing one’s hands before a meal, too. Wet wipes come in various packaging units. It can be expensive to buy them one at a time, so I usually buy them when they have “buy two get one free” events. Some products contain cleaning agents, so they do double-duty as hand sanitizers. There are wet naps specifically for use in restrooms. There are also cleansing tissues for removing makeup. Often, portable packs of wet naps are handed out at free gifts on the street or at gas stations. They are good for wiping off sweat in the summer, so I always carry wet wipes in my bag.

나는 책상에 일회용 물티슈를 항상 놓는다. 뭔가 흘렸을 때 닦기에 좋다. 먼지를 닦아 낼 때도 매우 효과적이다. 식사를 하기 전에 손을 한번 닦을 때도 유용하다. 물티슈는 다양한 포장 단위로 나온다. 낱개로 사면 조금 비싸서, 주로 2+1과 같은 행사 제품을 사서 쓰는 편이다. 제품 중에는 세정 성분이 섞여 있는 것들도 있어서, 손 세정제 역할을 해 준다. 화장실에서 볼일을 보고 쓸 수 있는 화장실 전용 물티슈도 있다. 화장을 지울 수 있는 클렌징 티슈도 있다. 길거리나 주유소에서 휴대용 물티슈를 사은품으로 나눠 주는 경우도 있다. 여름에 땀을 닦기에도 좋아서, 나는 항상 가방에 휴대용 물티슈를 가지고 다닌다.
