Talk about when you renovated your home.
I once called on a friend at her apartment, and her house was really nice. She had recently renovated her home. I decided that I would also renovate my apartment. Fist, I called a company that specializes in home renovations. I explained what I had in mind, and received a quote. First, we redid the floor and switched out the wallpaper. We repainted the balcony and gave the bathroom a makeover. We also put up new curtains. It took a week to wrap up the construction work, so we had to stay over at a relative’s house. Once the renovation was finished, the house looked completely new. The house is old, but it didn’t look out of date at all. It cost some money, but I didn’t begrudge the cost. For a while, I felt great every time I got home.

지인 아파트에 놀러 갔었는데, 집이 너무 좋아 보였다. 최근에 리모델링을 했다고 한다. 그래서 나도 살던 아파트를 리모델링 하기로 결정했다. 일단 리모델링 전문 회사에 전화를 했다. 원하는 작업을 설명하고 견적을 받았다. 먼저, 바닥재를 다시 깔고 벽면에 도배를 새로 했다. 베란다에 도색을 다시 하고 욕실 공사도 다시 했다. 커튼도 새로운 것으로 갈아 달았다. 공사를 하는 데 일주일이 걸려서 친척집에 가서 지내야 했다. 리모델링을 하고 나니, 아파트가 완전히 새것처럼 보였다. 집은 오래된 아파트였지만, 전혀 오래된 느낌이 나지 않았다. 돈은 조금 들어갔지만, 아깝다는 생각이 들지 않았다. 한동안 집에 들어설 때마다 기분이 좋았다.
