Talk about ordering food at a restaurant.
When I visit a restaurant for the first time. I usually look into it beforehand. Most of the time, I am more satisfied at places with good customer reviews. I like to read reviews posted by others and decide in advance what I will order. Of course, I study the menu and reconsider what to order when I arrive. Most menus clearly mark recommended or popular dishes. Ordering those items is a safe bet. When I can’t make up my mind, I ask the waiter for recommendations. When I order food, I might also ask for it to be prepared in a certain way. For example, people who are averse to spicy foods might ask for it to be made with less heat. Finally, I also have to take the price into account when I order from a menu. Whatever I order, usually the price is right

어떤 음식점에 처음 갈 때는 보통 사전에 조사를 해 본다. 대부분 후기가 좋은 곳들은 만족하는 경우가 많기 때문이다. 다른 사람들이 올려 놓은 후기를 보고, 어떤 음식을 시키면 좋을지 미리 정하고 가는 편이다. 물론 현장에 가서 메뉴를 꼼꼼히 보고 뭘 시킬지 다시 고민을 한다. 대부분 메뉴에 추천 메뉴나 인기 메뉴가 잘 표시되어 있어서, 그 음식들을 시키면 안전하다. 무엇을 시킬지 정하기가 힘들면 종업원에게 메뉴를 추천해 달라고 한다. 음식을 주문할 때는 음식을 어떻게 해 달라고 요청을 할 수도 있다. 예를 들어 매운 음식을 잘 못 먹으면, 덜 맵게 해 달라고 요청할 수 있다. 마지막으로 메뉴판에서 음식을 고를 때, 가격을 고려하지 않을 수가 없다. 가격이 적당한 것으로 고르는 경우가 많다.
