get in a pickle
곤란한 상황에 처하다
I once got in a pickle because I didn't have deep enough pockets. I had maxed out my credit cards. I was slapped with traffic fines. To make things worse, I had to pay through the nose for treatment at the dentist's.
Currently, I find myself in somewhat of a pickle.
I'm in a pretty pickle right now.
I call my mom when I'm in a pickle.
