How has it become easier to go on a trip?
Traveling has become less of a bother than it was before. First of all, transportation has become a lot faster and better over the years. For instance, Korea now has a bullet train called the KTX. Its top speed was unthinkable in the past. Now, it only takes half the time to get somewhere in Korea. In fact, trains are even a match for airplanes. Driving has also become much easier because we now have GPS. We don’t need paper maps anymore. We can just set the destination on the GPS and it tells us where to go. Plus, we can now get plane tickets or train tickets on our cell phones. We can make travel plans wherever we are, whenever we want to. All of these things have made traveling a lot easier.

예전에 비하면 여행 가는 것이 덜 힘들어졌다. 먼저 여러 해가 지나면서 교통수단이 훨씬 빠르고 좋아졌다. 예를 들어, 한국에는 이제 KTX라는 초고속 열차가 있다. 최고 속도가 과거에는 상상도 못했을 수준이다. 이제는 한국 내에 어디를 가도 시간이 절반밖에 걸리지 않는다. 심지어 기차가 비행기에 버금갈 정도다. 운전도 이제는 내비게이션이 있어서 많이 쉬워졌다 종이 지도는 더 이상 필요하지 않다. 내비게이션에 목적지를 입력하면 어디로 가야 하는지 알려 준다. 게다가 요새는 비행기표나 기차표를 휴대폰으로 구입할 수 있다. 시간과 장소의 구애를 받지 않고 원한다면 언제든지 여행 계획을 세울 수 있다. 이 모든 것들 덕분에 여행이 훨씬 더 쉬워졌다.
