Top broadcasters have thousands of fans. They are highly visible and have a lot of sway. They earn a sizeable income by selling ad time. I think that Internet broadcasts are here to stay.

요즘은 인터넷에 많은 1인 방송이 있다. 다양한 매체로 인해 실시간으로 사람들과 소통하는 것이 쉬워졌다. 필요한 것은 컴퓨터, 카메라, 그리고 인터넷 접속뿐이다. 사람들은 게임, 요리, 어학, 혹은 개인 스타일링에 대해 온라인으로 대화한다. ‘먹방’이라는 장르도 있다. ‘먹는 방송’을 줄인 말이다. 먹방에는 음식을 먹는 사람이 나온다. 다른 사람들은 먹는 모습을 구경하고 음식에 대해 알아간다. 가장 인기가 많은 방송인들은 수많은 팬들을 거느리고 있다. 인지도도 높고 영향력도 엄청나다. 본인 영상에 광고를 붙여 팔면서 상당한 수입을 번다. 이제 인터넷 방송은 우리 일상생활 속에 자리를 잡은 것 같다.
