In Korea, there are many theme cafes. Dog cafes are a prime example. They are cafes for dogs and dog-lovers. Visitors can drink beverages, and also play with the dogs. There are also dog treats and chew toys. Dog-owners can go with their own dogs. Many people like to take selfies with the dogs. Before I got my own dog, I went to these dog cafes to play with the dogs. Some people like cats more than dogs. Luckily, there are also cafes for cat people. Anyone can find a place to suit their preference. I like cats, but I can’t go to cat cafes because I am allergic to them. Overall, pet cafes are a fun part of Korea’s cafe culture.

한국에는 다양한 테마 카페가 있다. 애견 카페가 대표적인 예다. 이는 애견과 개를 사랑하는 사람들을 위한 곳이다. 손님들은 음료도 마시고 강아지들과 놀 수도 있다. 개 간식과 개 껌 등도 있다. 견주들은 자신의 개를 데리고 갈 수도 있다. 많은 사람들이 개들과 함께 셀카를 즐겨 찍는다. 나도 직접 개를 분양받기 전에는 이런 애견 카페에 가서 개들을 데리고 놀았다. 어떤 사람들은 개보다 고양이를 더 좋아한다. 다행히 고양이를 좋아하는 사람들을 위한 카페도 있다. 누구든 자신의 취향에 맞는 곳을 찾을 수 있다. 나는 고양이를 좋아하지만 알레르기가 있어서 고양이 카페에는 가지 못한다. 전반적으로 반려동물 카페는 한국 카페 문화의 흥미로운 일면이라고 할 수 있다.
