Corrective eye surgeries have become commonplace because so many people have poor vision. There are various types of surgery, and surgery costs have dropped noticeably. Some people hesitate to undergo surgery because they are worried about the side effects. But as the number of surgical cases increases, concerns over side effects have gone down. The two most common types of surgery are LASIK and LASEK surgery. Both techniques use lasers to reshape the surface of the cornea. If the surgery is successful, patients can get 20/20 vision.
