Talk about when you came down with the flu.
A few months ago, I began to develop symptoms of a common cold. I was burning up, and I felt light-headed. My voice cracked, and I started to lose my voice. I thought it was a bad cold, so I took some medicine and hit the sack. However, the symptoms got worse. I couldn’t take it anymore. So I went to see a doctor. The doctor told me she suspected the flu. After a simple test, she diagnosed me with influenza A. I got an IV drip to break the fever. I also got a prescription for some medicine. I had to take sick leave for a few days.

몇 달 전에 흔한 가기 증세가 생기기 시작했다. 열아 많이 나서 어지러울 지경이었다. 목소리가 갈라지더니 결국 목소리가 안 나오기 시작했다. 감기가 심하게 걸렸다고 생각하고 약을 먹고 잤는데 증세가 더욱 악화되었다. 더 이상 버틸 수가 없어서 병원에 갔다. 의사 선생님이 독감이 의심된다고 했다. 간단한 검사를 해 보니, A형 독감으로 판정이 나왔다. 열을 내리기 위해서 링거를 맞고, 약도 처방받았다. 며칠간 병가를 내야 했다.
