(Two friends are talking while waiting for a bus … )
Cindy: How are your kids?
Becky: They're a handful.
Cindy: Your kids they're always so nice.
Becky: But I have trouble keeping up with them.
Cindy: I'm not surprised. Three young boys have a lot of energy.
Becky: You don't know the half of it.
Cindy: What do you mean?
Becky: They think they know everything.
Cindy: They'll grow out of that.
Becky: Well I hope it happens before I lose my mind.

(친구 둘이 버스를 기다리며 얘기한다 …)
신디 : 아이들은 어때?
베키 : 다루기 힘들어.
신디 : 너희 아이들은 언제나 착하잖니.
베키 : 그래도 난 따라가기 힘들어.
신디 : 그리 놀랄 일이 아니지. 남자 아이들 셋이 얼마나 기가 넘치겠어.
베키 : 네가 아는건 절반도 안돼.
신디 : 무슨 뜻이지?
베키 : 자기들이 모든 걸 다 안다고 생각해.
신디 : 곧 고쳐지겠지.
베키 : 내가 미치기기 전에 그래야할텐데 말야.
