(Esther is talking to her daughter Kelly.)
Esther: So you're not going to go through with it?
Kelly: No, Mom I'm not.
Esther: Marriage is a big step to take in life.
Kelly: I don't think I'm ready to get married right now.
Esther: How did John take it?
Kelly: He was disappointed but he understood.
Esther: How did you tell him?
Kelly: I just told him I had a change of heart.
Esther: You're young. You have plenty of time to get married.
Kelly: Yes and I want to be sure I know what I'm doing.

에스더: 그래 너 안 할거지?
켈리: 응 엄마. 안 할거야.
에스더: 결혼은 인생에서 큰 변화야.
켈리: 전 지금은 결혼할 준비가 안된 것 같아요.
에스더: 존은 어떻게 받아들이든?
켈리: 실망하죠. 그래도 이해를 해줬어요.
에스더: 존에게 어떻게 얘기했니?
켈리: 그냥 마음이 바뀌었다고 했어요.
에스더: 넌 아직 젊어. 결혼할 시간은 얼마든지 있어.
켈리: 응. 그리고 내가 하는 일에 확신을 갖고 싶어.
