Talk about a car accident you had.
I had a car accident quite recently. I was entering an intersection, but there was a driver that was running a red light from the other direction. She totally came out of nowhere. I don’t think she had her eyes on the road. We ended up crashing into each other. The front part of my car was severely damaged. We both called our insurance companies, and they sent people to the crash site. Some police officers came to the scene as well. Both of our cars were towed away to the service center. I got whiplash from the impact and had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days. The repair costs and medical fees were all covered by insurance.

아주 최근에 교통사고가 났습니다. 교차로로 진입하는 중이었는데, 반대 방향에서 정시 진호를 무시하고 달려오는 운전자가 있었습니다. 정말 난데없이 갑자기 튀어 나왔습니다. 그 운전자는 도로를 제대로 살피고 있지 않았던 것 같았습니다. 결국 서로 충돌했습니다. 제 차장의 앞부분이 심하게 파손되었습니다. 각자 보험사에 전화를 걸었고, 보험사에서 사고 현장으로 사람을 보내 주었습니다. 현장에 경찰관들도 몇 명 왔습니다. 우리 차는 모두 정비소로 견인되어 갔습니다. 사고 충격으로 저는 목 부위를 다쳤고, 며칠간 병원에 입원해야 했습니다. 수리 비용과 치료비 모두 보험 처리를 했습니다.
