Talk about when you couldn’t make it to a gathering.
I remember a time when I was supposed to get together for dinner with some of my friends. I was looking forward to the gathering. However, something urgent came up at work. I couldn’t get off until I took care of the problem. It seemed like it would take quite a long time. So, I had no choice but to call my friends and tell them I couldn’t make it. I felt very bad since I hadn’t seen them for a long time. Plus, I was the one who organized the gathering in the first place. I told my friends that I would make it up to them later on. Looking back, I regret missing that get-together that day.

모임에 가지 못했던 경험에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
친구들 몇 명과 저녁 모임을 하기로 했었던 때가 기억납니다. 저는 그 모임을 정말 기대하고 있었습니다 .그런데 회사에서 급한 일이 생겼습니다. 문제를 해결할 때까지는 퇴근할 수 없었습니다. 시간이 꽤 오래 걸릴 것 같았습니다. 그래서 저는 친구들에게 전화를 걸어 못 갈 것 같다고 말할 수밖에 없었습니다. 친구들을 못 본 지 꽤 되었기 때문에 정말 미안한 마음이 들었습니다. 게다가 애당초 그 모임을 준비한 사람이 바로 저였습니다. 저는 친구들에게 나중에 꼭 보상하겠다고 말했습니다. 지금 와서 생각해도 그날의 그 모임을 놓친 것이 정말 아쉽습니다.
