It poses a health threat. When there is a high concentration of fine dust, people’s eyes get itchy. They get swollen throats and cough a lot. When fine dust enters the respiratory system, it can cause serious side effects. Some substances in fine dust are carcinogens. When there is a fine dust alert, it’s important to wear a facial mask. People in masks are a common sight these days. Elderly people and children should refrain from going outdoors. The only fundamental solution is to reduce pollution as a whole.
