Talk about when you had problems parking your car.
Finding a parking spot can be very hard in big cities. You really need to keep your eyes open to find an open spot. Many people drive a small car to make parking less of a chore. It’s easier to navigate through cramped parking lots with compact cars. Still, finding room to park is so difficult sometimes, that I wonder if it’s worth the trouble. Once, I was running late for a meeting. I left early just in case. However, I couldn’t find a parking space when I got there. It took me longer than 10 minutes to park and I ended up being late for the meeting. Since then, I always leave extra early when I drive my car somewhere.

주차 공간을 찾는 것이 대도시에서는 매우 어려울 수 있다. 빈자리를 찾기 위해서는 계속 지켜보며 잘 찾아봐야 한다. 많은 사람들이 주차를 좀 더 편하게 하기 위해서 경차를 몰고 다니기도 한다. 경차를 운전하면 차들이 즐비한 주차장을 찾아다니기가 더 쉽다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 주차 공간을 찾는 것이 가끔씩 너무 어려울 때가 있는 탓에, 나는 이것이 고생할 가치가 있는지 의문이 들 때가 있다. 한번은 미팅에 늦었던 적이 있다. 혹시 몰라서 일찍 출발은 했다. 그러나 현장에 도착해서 주차 공간을 찾을 수가 없었다. 주차 공간을 찾는 데만 10분이 넘게 걸렸고, 결국 미팅에 늦고 말았다. 그 이후로 운전해서 어디 갈 때는 특히 더 일찍 나온다.
