Talk about a time when you had financial problems.
I had several money drains early last year. It was a hard time for me financially. The monthly rent for my house went up. I also fell ill, and it cost an arm and a leg to get treated. I was even making monthly car payments. The going got tough. Once, I couldn’t pay my credit card bill. I fell behind in payment. My other credit cards were suspended, and my credit score went down. It reminded me of how important spending responsibly is.


금전적으로 어려웠던 경험에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
작년 초에 돈이 들어갈 곳이 많아서 금전적으로 힘이 들었다. 살고 있는 집의 월세가 올랐다. 그리고 몸이 아파서 치료를 받느라 돈이 제법 많이 들었다. 거기에 차량 할부금을 내고 있던 터라 정말 빠듯했다. 한번은 신용 카드 대금을 내지 못했다. 결국 카드값이 연체되어 다른 카드들도 사용이 중지되었고, 내 신용 등급도 내려갔다. 그러한 일들을 겪으면서 책임감 있게 지출하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 다시 한번 깨달았다.
