Talk about recent marriage trends in Korea.
The number of people getting hitched in Korea is dropping. Some people put off marriage for as long as they can, because of various social factors. More people are taking a pass on getting married. With more people choosing to stay single, the number of single-person households is on the rise. Even when people do tie the knot, more couples are having just one child or none at all. Currently, Korea has one of the lowest birthrates in the world.

한국에서는 결혼을 하는 사람의 수가 점점 줄어들고 있다. 여러 가지 사회적 여건상 결혼을 최대한 미루는 경우도 있고 아예 결혼을 안 하는 사람들도 늘고 있다. 이러한 비혼족이 늘어남에 따라서 1인 가구의 수도 증가세에 있다. 결혼을 한다고 해도 아이를 한 명만 낳거나 아예 안 낳는 부부들도 점점 증가하고 있다. 현재 한국은 전 세계에서 출산율이 가장 낮은 나라 중에 하나다.
