Becky: I can't come to the picnic.
Edie: Why not?
Becky: My kids have back-to-back doctor's appointments.
Edie: Can't you change them?
Becky: I put them off already.
Edie: Where there's a will there's a way.
Becky: I do want to come.
Edie: Then you'll figure out a way.
Becky: I guess I can come late.
Edie: I knew you'd think of a way.

(베키가 여동생 이디와 전화 통화를 하며…)
베키 : 나 피크닉 못 가.
이디 : 왜?
베키 : 우리 애들이 연달아 병원 예약이 돼 있어.
이디 : 바꾸면 안 돼?
베키 : 벌써 연기한 거야.
이디 : 하자고 하면 방법이 있지.
베키 : 피크닉 가고 싶긴 해.
이디 : 그럼 방법을 궁리해 봐.
베키 : 늦게 갈 수는 있을 것 같아.
이디 : 언니가 방법을 생각해 낼 줄 알았어.
