(Richie is talking to a friend.)
Madeline: Is that your sister over there with the children?
Richie: That's her. She loves being with them.
Madeline: She's playing some kind of game with them.
Richie: It looks like one we used to play when we were children.
Madeline: She's managing to keep them all occupied and enjoying themselves.
Richie: She's got a way with children. She always had.
Madeline: That's a great gift. A lot of people would just lose patience before you know it.
Richie: Needless to say she'll be a great mother.
Madeline: And she'll be a great teacher.
Richie: That's true. She will get her teaching degree in a year and she can hardly wait.

매들린: 저기 애들하고 있는 게 네 누나지?
리치: 그렇네. 우리 누나는 애들 좋아해.
매들린: 애들하고 무슨 놀이를 하는데.
리치: 우리 어렸을 때 했던 놀이 같은데.
매들린: 어떻게 했는지 애들이 전부 놀이에 푹 빠져서 신이 났네.
리치: 누나는 애들을 잘 다뤄. 항상 그랬어.
매들린: 그거 대단한 재주다. 금새 못 견뎌하는 사람들 많잖아.
리치: 말 할 것도 없이 누나는 훌륭한 엄마가 될 거야.
매들린: 선생님도 잘 할 거야.
리치: 맞아. 1년 안에 교사 자격증 받을 건데 그 날만 손꼽아 기다리고 있어.
