Tyler: Did you go out with Jenny last night?
Dillon: Yeah. But it wasn't so hot.
Tyler: How can that be? You were sure she was the girl of your dreams.
Dillon: Well, I guess that was a mistake.
Tyler: What could happen on one date that would change your mind?
Dillon: We couldn't agree on anything. We couldn't even agree on where to eat dinner.
Tyler: Didn't you let her decide on the restaurant?
Dillon: Of course. But she wanted me to decide on it.
Tyler: What's wrong with that?
Dillon: She didn't like the restaurant I chose.
(학교에서 친구 둘이 이야기를 한다.)
타일러: 어젯밤에 제니하고 데이트했어?
딜런: 응. 그런데 아주 좋지는 않았어.
타일러: 정말? 제니가 딱 네 이상형이라며.
딜런: 그러니까 내가 잘못 생각한 것 같아.
타일러: 데이트 한 번 하고 마음이 바뀔 만한 일이 있었단 말야?
딜런: 생각이 같은 게 하나도 없어. 저녁을 어디서 먹을까 조차 의견 일치가 안되니.
타일러: 식당은 제니한테 정하라고 안했어?
딜런: 물론 그랬지. 한데 나보고 정하라는 거야.
타일러: 그게 뭐 어때서?
딜런: 내가 고른 식당이 마음에 안 든대.
