Talk about when you moved into a new place.
Moving in Korea can be relatively painless. I hired professional movers to make the move easier. We took inventory of all my belongings and the movers packed them up in the boxes. In no time, we cleared out my old place. They did the heavy lifting for me so I didn’t have to lift a finger. My new bed frame nearly didn’t fit in the moving truck. Regardless, I was fully moved in and squared away in just half a day. I made sure to clean every nook and cranny of my new home. Now that I’m all settled in, I’m going all out with furnishing my new place.

한국에서 이사하는 건 비교적 힘들지 않은 편이다. 나는 이사를 편하게 하려고 전문 이삿짐 센터 직원들을 불렀다. 우리는 물건들의 목록을 만들고, 이삿짐 센터 직원들은 박스에 짐을 쌌다. 우리는 살던 집을 눈깜짝할 사이에 비웠다. 무거운 짐은 직원들이 모두 옮겨 주었기 때문에 나는 손끝 하나 까딱할 필요가 없었다. 새 침대 프레임이 이삿짐 트럭에 거의 들어가지 못할 뻔하긴 했지만, 어쨌든 나는 반나절 만에 완전히 이사를 마쳤고 정리도 깔끔히 끝냈다. 나는 새집을 구석구석 확실히 치웠다. 이제 전부 자리를 잡았으니, 새집에 가구를 들여놓는 일에 온 힘을 쏟을 것이다.
