The weather is sweltering hot in Korea during the summer. The mercury rises, and humidity is high. Many people sweat a lot. Women fix their makeup often. Many people use fragrances or deodorants to prevent body odor. People wear revealing clothes because of the hot weather, so they try to stay in shape. In the winter, it can get unbearably cold. Heavy snowfall is common. This can cause dangerous road conditions. Despite the cold, some people enjoy winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. Because of the extreme weather in the summer and winter, spring and autumn are the most popular seasons.

한국의 여름 날씨는 매우 무덥다. 수은주가 오르고 습도도 높다. 수많은 사람들이 땀을 많이 흘린다. 여성들은 화장을 자주 고친다. 불쾌한 체취를 예방하기 위해 향수나 체취 제거제를 사용하는 사람도 많다. 더운 날씨로 인해 노출이 많은 옷을 입기 때문에 몸매 관리를 하려고 노력하는 사람들도 있다. 겨울에는 견딜 수 없을 정도로 추워지기도 한다. 폭설이 내리는 경우가 많다. 이 때문에 도로가 다니기 위험해진다. 추운 날씨에도 불구하고 스키나 스노보드 등 겨울철 운동을 즐기는 사람들도 있다. 여름철과 겨울철의 극단적인 날씨 때문에 봄과 가을이 가장 인기 있는 계절이다.
