Korea has excellent public transportation. It’s not a stretch to say that the public transportation around the capital area is world-class. First, there is a subway system with a lot of routes. You can find your way almost anywhere by subway. The bus system is also top-notch. The buses are color-coded depending on whether they run in downtown areas or outside the city. These days, you can use various transportation apps to check the timetables for buses and subway cars in real-time. Notice boards at stations and bus stops are digital displays. On a national level, there are KTX and SRT bullet trains and lots of domestic flights. Traveling to different regions is a cinch if you use these means of transportation.

한국은 대중교통이 매우 발달해 있다. 수도권 주변의 대중교통은 세계 최고 수준이라고 해도 과언이 아니다. 일단 여러 개 노선을 가지고 있는 지하철이 있다. 거의 전 지역을 지하철로 갈 수 있다. 버스 체계도 최고 수준이다. 도심에서 운영하는 버스인지, 시외로 운행하는 버스인지에 따라서 버스 색상이 다르게 칠해져 있다. 요즘은 여러 가지 교통 관련 앱을 이용해 버스와 지하철 열차의 시간을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다. 지하철역과 버스 정류장의 알림판도 디지털 화면으로 되어 있다. 전국적으로는 초고속 열차인 KTX와 SRT 및 여러 국내선 항공편이 마련되어 있다. 다른 지방으로 가는 여행도 이러한 교통편을 이용하면 매우 쉽게 갈 수 있다.
