Talk about what you wanted to become when you were a child.
When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a scientist. I came to have that dream after reading biographies of famous scientists. I dreamed of studying hard and coming up with important discoveries or inventions. When I wrote about my future dreams, I always wrote about becoming a scientist. Many kids of my age had similar dreams.


어린 시절의 장래 희망에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
나는 어렸을 때 과학자가 되는 것이 꿈이었다. 유명한 과학자들에 대한 위인전을 읽고 그러한 꿈을 갖게 되었다. 공부를 열심히 해서 중대한 발견이나 발명을 하는 것이 꿈이었다. 장래 희망에 대해 글을 쓸 때도 항상 과학자가 되는 꿈을 쓰곤 했다. 내 또래의 아이들 중에는 나와 비슷한 꿈을 가진 아이들이 많았다.
