The summer weather in Korea is hot and humid. In July and August, the daytime highs can rise above 30 degrees Celsius. People dress lightly. They sometimes carry portable fans. Because the weather is sweltering, lots of people look for icy drinks. Many also go on vacation at the beach or in the mountains. The A/C is running in most buildings in the summer. In September, the weather begins to cool down and fall comes around.

한국의 여름 날씨는 매우 덥고 습하다. 7월과 8월에는 낮 최고 기온이 섭씨 30도 이상 올라가기도 한다. 사람들은 옷을 가볍게 입고, 휴대용 선풍기를 들고 다니기도 한다. 날씨가 워낙 무덥다 보니 차가운 음료수를 찾는 사람들이 많다. 바다나 산으로 휴가를 가는 사람들도 많다. 여름에는 대부분 건물에 냉방 장치가 가동된다. 9월에 들어서면 선선해지기 시작하고 가을이 찾아온다.
