(Tom and Joe are waiting for other friends to go to a movie…)
Tom: Hi Joe. Is Joan coming with us?
Joe: Yes why?
Tom: Nothing. Just asking.
Joe: Then why are you blushing? You like her don't you?
Tom: What are you talking about?
Joe: Come on admit it. You like her.
Tom: Well maybe I do. But I'm nervous about asking her out.
Joe: What are you afraid of?
Tom: If she turned me down I would totally die.
Joe: It's not the end of the world if she says no.

(탐과 조가 영화를 보러 갈 다른 친구들을 기다리며…)
탐 : 안녕 조. 조앤도 우리랑 함께 가는 거지?
조 : 응. 왜?
탐 : 아무 것도 아니야. 그냥 물어봤어.
조 : 그럼 왜 얼굴이 빨개져? 너 조앤 좋아하는 구나 그렇지?
탐 : 무슨 말을 하는 거야?
조 : 왜 그래 실토해. 너 조앤 좋아하잖아.
탐 : 그게 좋아할 지도 모르지. 한데 데이트 신청하는 게 떨려.
조 : 뭐가 무서운 건데?
탐 : 조앤이 퇴짜를 놓으면 너무 창피할 것 같아.
조 : 조앤이 안 간다고 해도 세상 끝나는 거 아니야.
