(Ed is talking to an employee in the office.)
Ed: Steve was late again this morning.
Tom: What are you going to do about it?
Ed: I'm not sure but I have to do something. I can't let him get away with it.
Tom: Have you talked with him about it?
Ed: Not yet. I was hoping he would get his act together.
Tom: It doesn't look like that's going to happen.
Ed: You're right. I need to set him straight.
Tom: When are you going to do that?
Ed: There's no time like the present. I'm going to do it now.
Tom: Good. I'm going back to work.
