(Jeff is visiting Alan at his house … )
Jeff: Where did you get that bookshelf? It's nice.
Alan: I bought it at a garage sale last week.
Jeff: What did you pay for it?
Alan: Just $50.
Jeff: Really? That's a steal! That's pine.
Alan: I know. I also bought this table.
Jeff: What did that run you?
Alan: It was $30 but I got him down to $25.
Jeff: You always do well when you go to garage sales.
Alan: I know. I guess I've got the knack.

앨런: 지난주에 창고 세일에 가서 샀어.
제프: 얼마를 줬어?
앨런: 50달러.
제프: 정말? 엄청 싸네! 소나무인데.
앨런: 그러게. 이 식탁도 샀지.
제프: 그건 얼마 했어?
앨런: 30달러였는데 25달러로 깎았지.
제프: 자넨 창고 세일에 가면 항상 좋은 거래를 하더라구.
앨런: 그러게. 나한테 그런 재주가 있나봐.
